Do not accidentally leave behind anything if you stop here! We were traveling from Wisconsin to lower Michigan and stopped on a Friday afternoon, here as we usually do. We were out away from the main building to let our dog do his business. My wife took a bag with our swimsuits, towels, and some pool toys out and placed it on the ground to get to another bag. She forgot to put the bag back in and we drove away. We continued our trip to bury my grandfather who passed. Monday night before we were leaving to return home we wanted to go swimming discovering that we did not have our bag. We retraced our stops on the trip and called Monday night to ask if our bag was there. We were told it was there but they weren't sure where it was at that moment and to call back and talk to a manager. We called first thing Tuesday morning as we headed out and were told that they threw out our bag in the dumpster and that they had already been there to pick it up. No sorry, no remorse, no nothing! Just an attitude and acted like it was no big deal. No it's going to cost around $125 to replace all the items and they don't care. Be warned if you have to stop here. And just remember it's not the only gas station on US 2.

What more can I saw if you drive truck in the UP then is is an awesome stop! This place is clean its never full. has an arbys and a burger king in walking. Staff inside is friendly, Oh and its Lake View shell how many Truck stops have a Lake across the street?
I like that they sell gas. Was unable to find any seashells
