Room was very clean. Wifi worked great. Decent sized room. Pet friendly. Free breakfast (but unfortunately didn't have the chance to check it out). 24 hour Free coffee/tea (and I think popcorn) in lobby! Colleen checked us in and was very nice. Even tho things were a bit challenging (only one ice machine and it wasn't working, computer was down, key cards had to constantly be recoded, etc) she handled it well. She even called the restaurant next door to bring ice in!!! Colleen could give lessons to the desk person this morning on customer service. Ice machine was still down and was very rude to be questioned about it. Computer must have stayed down so she accused us of "sneaking" our dog in! And tried to charge us more!!! Would definitely stay here again but would just pray that this morning's desk person has the day off.
Nice place. Great breakfast. Easy to get other food. Beautiful walk on the lake over to the light house.
Rooms are nice size and super clean. Staff are all very friendly and very nice. Breakfast is typical but fine. Queen beds are new and pretty comfy. Request "the back" to avoid the hustle and bustle of people walking loudly down the hall. Request "the front" if you want to be close to breakfast, free popcorn and complimentary coffee/tea/lemon water. Coffee is yum. Chair in queen room is super comfy. The loveseat in the king room is eh. Wifi rocks!
Another great experience at a choice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed came with a wide range of pillow options. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
It's quiet. There's a BIG Boy restaurant (not just a hamburger joint) across the parking lot. Coffee in room, refrigerator,tv. No microwave. Very near Lake Michigan (across street). Free popcorn. Kid friendly. Has wooden trains & tractor/slide for kids to play on. So close to lake everything feels damp even the paper! Cool nights had heat on in July. Disabled access but back ramp not really wide enough for wheelchair convenience and outside doors are not automated.
