Great view of the lake as well as the towns lighthouse. There is a nice wooden and railed board walk that you can stroll on if you don't want to walk the beach and get sand in your shoes. A lot of people stop at either end to look and take pictures.

Great place to watch the sunset. Not crowded and a well kept park. We had a picnic on the beach and a leisurely stroll out to the light house for a relaxing view of the sunset.
We camped at Indian campground. I wasn't real impressed. When we were on our way home we stopped at other state campgrounds along the way. When we saw this campground and how many spots right on the water with a beautiful view and only 13.00 a night. Heck yeah. We payed 22.00 a night at Indian state campground and was not happy with it. It was just a basic campground but you have electric a water pump and showers and toilets but at Lakeview their is an out house. Every site has a picnic table and fire ring and they are all grass. We were camping last weekend and now it is getting to cold to camp with kids on the water at night. But next year this is where we are going in the upper peninsula. Mill Creek in Mackinaw city is our favorite campground but the sites here are just breath taking when the sun is setting!!
