I Called the dealership and a woman answered Curran Chevrolet, I asked for the parts department and she would not transfer me until she found out my name, why I was calling and what I wanted. I gave her my name and advised her that in 30 years of calling dealerships, no one ever needed to know my name or where I was calling from in order to be transferred to parts. Before I could finish my sentence, she hung up on me. A potential customer. If this is how the employees are Curran Chevrolet handle their phone calls, it is no wonder their picture in Google appears that they are closed.
Passing through Manistique on our cross country tour, I heard ujoint failing in my 04 Silverado. Other local garages booked solid into next week. Advisor Eric treated me well and got me in next morning. Parts obtained and repair made within the hour at reasonable rate. Clean facility, roomy waiting room with TV, coffee and magazines. Highly recommended.
